What to bring

Originals plus one photocopy of each, unless noted otherwise.

  • Current passport, plus a photocopy of the bio page
  • Original birth certificate
  • National ID, plus a copy
  • Completed application form
  • Recent passport photographs to the specified size
  • Proof of legal residence in Korea (ARC)

How it goes

  1. Complete the online application on the eCitizen platform.
  2. Print the confirmation and gather the documents above.
  3. Book an appointment with the embassy's consular section.
  4. Attend in person for biometrics.
  5. Collect when notified — most applications are processed in Nairobi, not Seoul.
