A bridge status for graduates looking for work before a work visa is issued.
Typical stay: 6 months at a time, up to 2 years total

Work
Professors, language instructors, specialists, and non-professional employment
Foreign language instructor
For teaching a language you speak natively, at a school or hagwon.
Typical stay: Usually 1 year, tied to your contract
Specially designated activities
Skilled professional work in a role designated by the Ministry of Justice.
Typical stay: Up to 3 years, renewable
F-1, F-2, F-4, F-5, F-6
Family or residency
Spouses, dependants, permanent residents and long-term residents
