What this service is
The Kenya-Korea Hub is a free, volunteer-run community platform. There is no fee, no subscription and no paid tier.
On the consular guidance
This is the part worth reading twice. We are not the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Seoul, and we are not Korean immigration. Visa and consular content here is published in good faith, sourced where possible and stamped with the date a volunteer last checked it — but it is a summary written by community members, not an official statement.
Immigration and consular rules change without notice. Confirm anything that matters with the embassy or with Korean immigration before you travel, pay a fee, or let a status lapse. We cannot accept liability for decisions taken on the basis of a page here.
On the request desk
Raising a request gets you a reference number and a volunteer who will try to help. It is not a guaranteed response time and it is not a legal or immigration advisory service. Genuine emergencies — a lost passport with imminent travel, an arrest, a hospitalisation, a death — should go to the embassy's emergency line first.
Your account
Keep your details accurate, keep your password to yourself, and don't use the platform to harass anyone or to misrepresent yourself as speaking for the community or the embassy. We may suspend accounts that do.
Content you submit
Photos and writing you send stay yours. By submitting them you let us publish them on this site and its social accounts. Tell us if you want something taken down and we will.
Changes
If these terms change materially, registered members will be emailed. Questions to kenyakorea@statotec.com.
