Legal & notarial
Police clearance certificate
A Kenyan certificate of good conduct, often required for Korean visa applications and employment.
Not yet verified. Treat this as a starting point rather than the final word.
Rules change without notice. Always confirm with the Embassy of Kenya in Seoul or Korean immigration before you travel or pay a fee.
What to bring
Originals plus one photocopy of each, unless noted otherwise.
How it goes
- Apply through the eCitizen DCI service.
- Have fingerprints taken — the embassy can usually witness these.
- Send the form to the DCI in Nairobi.
- Collect or have the certificate forwarded.
Budget several weeks. Employers rarely allow for how long this takes.
